Most mornings I slide this pedal exerciser under my desk before starting calls, and it’s become part of the routine to keep my legs from getting stiff. The motion is smooth enough that I can keep a steady pace while working, and turning the knob gives enough resistance to actually feel like exercise when I want it. I usually go for about twenty minutes and notice my calves don’t feel as heavy later in the day. On hardwood it will inch forward a little unless I set a mat underneath, but once it’s in place it stays put. When I’m done I push it against the wall by my desk, and it’s ready to use again the next morning.
This thing comes assembled, you do NO assembly which is rare these days. I LOVE this thing. I’ve gotten under the desk pedal bikes in the past that were SUPER heavy and clunky. In fact I think we straight up left our old one in the office when we had to evacuate the office and go remote during the 2020 pandemic. It was just so clunky and heavy and not worth the effort to bring home considering the rest of the items we had to haul home from the office. This thing is great. It folds flat and you just folk it back out for use! So simple and easy! Comes with a USB-C cable to plug in so the little LCD screen can turn on and keep track of your calories. There’s a little resistance knob on the side so you can easily control how hard of a workout you want. I honestly LOVE how compact and light this is to stow away when not in use. Because who has space for large bulky items in their home?!
I started using this mini exercise bike at my desk, it’s been easy to fit into my day. I keep it under the table while I’m working, whenever I’m on a long call, I just start pedaling. The motion is smooth, and the resistance knob lets me switch between light movement and a bit more of a push. I’ve also tried it on the kitchen table for arm exercises, feels funny at first but works well. The screen is simple but handy, I don’t have to guess how long I’ve been moving. I like that it tracks calories and speed, it’s not 100% gym level precise, but it’s motivating. The base doesn’t slide around. On those days I don’t feel like going outside, it still gives me a way to get my legs moving.
My mom sets this pedal exerciser by her favorite chair and uses it most afternoons while she listens to music. She likes that the pedals move smoothly and that the straps hold her shoes without needing to fuss with them. On the hardwood it will creep forward if she pedals too quickly, so she keeps a small rug underneath and that solves it. The effort is gentle but enough to loosen her legs after sitting, and she says it makes her knees feel less stiff when she stands up later. When she finishes she just nudges it back against the wall, and it is light enough for her to pull out again whenever she wants to use it.
In comparison to its size, the device is quite sturdy. The knob that allows me to adjust the resistance makes it simple for me to adjust the intensity of my workouts, and it does not shake while I am cycling. My legs can be supported by it on the floor, and my arms may be supported by it on my desk. I am grateful for this versatility. Both activities are enjoyable and smooth, and the foot straps that can be adjusted keep everything in place. Because it is lightweight and relatively easy to carry, I bring it with me to a variety of different rooms. The pedals don't produce any noise, which is wonderful since it allows me to use them when I'm talking on the phone or watching television. Another thing that I like about it is that it does not take up a lot of space, which makes it ideal for space-constrained environments such as home offices or flats with limited space. The process of setting it up was uncomplicated and straightforward, and it did not require any specialized equipment or instructions. Since I began using it on a daily basis, I have seen that my circulation has improved and that my energy levels have increased somewhat. The quality is excellent in comparison to the cost, and I have also noted that my circulation has improved. Even though it is a little issue that does not affect how much I love it, if I had to propose any improvements, I would say that a slightly larger pedal surface could be helpful for people who have larger feet.
